Is surfing fun?

i want to learn how to surf this summer and i want to know if it is worth my time, i already skimboard pretty well, will that help me learn how?

It'll probably help with balance and stuff, but yeah, it's definitely worth your time. I don't know that it's possible to not like surfing.
