Is surfing fun???

im thinking about going to a surf camp this summer... is it worth it???

you kidding me? the most fun experience ever!!! you'll fall a lot though, but falling isn't so bad, just 4 seconds under water for beginners.

Many people will tell you no at first as a joke (because they don't want more people surfing, its crowed already) and many will laugh because if you have surfed the question is funny. It is fun once you really start surfing, but some people are turned off by it before they get to the good part. At first you will get water up your nose and crash, which isn't fun. After you get better it is one of the best feeling in the world. So yes it is fun, but it isn't always fun at first. Worth it though.

Surfing is the most fun that I've ever had, period, and I wish that I had the opportunity/drive to learn when i was younger.  

When you start out, you have your moments of panic and laziness, but catching a wave, being able to stand up and ride on a wave is definately one of the most amazing, rewarding feelings one could ever experience in life.  It is TOTALLY worth it if you have an opportunity to go.  Good luck :)

Yeah it's soooooo worth it cause is it's fun and just rember to where a rash gaurd cause you do get rashes on your arms

I've surfed most of my live ,i hate crowds but thats surfing.. if you get the real feeling of surfing ,you will find no sport will give you the rush of being barrelled then pushed out into a clean open carvable wall...yeah sure you will get plenty of dumps,just makes you wanna get back out there and smash those walls to shreds...anyways what better way to spend your summer out in the water amongst the waves
