  1. its one of the healthiest types of food! just avoid the deep fried stuff and use a bit of soy sauce, not too much

  2. why is it bad?

you are not over eating anything. you didn't eat a lot of deep sea fish sushi, nothing wrong here.

  3. No, raw and cooked fish is very healthy for you as long as the restaurant that you get it from properly stores and prepares the fish. I work in a sushi restaurant and eat makimono, sushi, and sashimi 5 days a week. However, do not eat raw fish if you are pregnant because it may be harmful to the baby. This also means that you should steer clear of the masago (fish eggs) which are often served on top of many rolls.

  4. I heard raw fish is bad for your liver, I'm not sure

  5. Not at all. As long as it's really fresh sushi is really good for you. Enjoy!

  6. Eating sushi is much healthier than the many cooked foods that are available and out there.  Any food can be good or bad* for you (*bad if eating in excess...that applies to any kind of food, not just sushi).  Eating in moderation shouldn't be a problem though.

Rice (like potatoes) is a complex carb/starch....too much starch may not be good for you (starch turns into sugar in your system, sugar may turn into fat.....unless you work out a lot and burn it).  Eating sushi shouldn't be an issue...except, anyone pregnant shouldn't eat sushi containing raw fish.

If any restaurant offers brown rice in place of white sushi rice, you may opt for the brown rice as it's a very healthy alternative.  Plus, the healthiest is eating sashimi (that's the slices of fish without the rice).  You're eliminating the starch if you eat sashimi.  Plus the fish is high in omega 3 and protein.

If you're really health conscience, avoid a lot of fried stuff that may be included in those combo rolls.

Shrimp is a shellfish and they're high in cholestrol....but if you don't have any cholestrol issues, shouldn't be a problem.

    Hope this helps you.

  7. No

If there was anything Unhealthy,,, they would never get a public health license..and a business license..

If the food wasn't delicious,, no one would return..
