I'm in cross country, so I run five days a week, and I want to get my nose pierced, but will the sweat from running cause infections? I won't be able to immediately clean it, but I will be able to within an hour or so.

  1. you'll be fine... just clean it well with some poroxide

  2. i had mine done & i play soccer .. it didn't appear to be a problem

  3. Sweat, build up, dirt, makeup, shampoo and many other stuff can irritate a new piercing. As long as you make sure to cleanse the area after your done with your activities the piercing should stay healthy.

P.S.  lol do not put any peroxide on your piercing like someone else stated, harsh chemicals such as that, alcohol, bactine, neosporin, etc can do more harm than good, they clog and dry out the piercing causing infection and delayed healing.
