I think Perth is more laidback, not as bigger city, not as humid + not as populated. Its easy to love here :)

It Depends what sort of life style you arer looking for

I love Perth,easy going life and easy to find your way around use a car a lot As far as living you can rent easy here, a unit or house big open spaces and parks

Sydney is good if you like a faster pace of life, its hard to get some where to live, you need references,  in the city you can rent small units no houses and rents are very high in price, most people use public transport, there are no park areas much and its very crowded people wise

Sydney, I'm living here right now, its full of thrills and adventure, so if you like a rollercoaster life, Sydney is perfect, I think i would be very bored in Perth no offence to anyone, its just Sydney has got all the theme parks, heritage sites, beaches and beautiful sites. I'm not the kind of person that likes dry rural land also, i absolutely despise it! it makes me feel sweaty and hot all the time errghh~

Sydney, you have a variety of weather aswell, it can be pouring one day and sunny the next, its also the most renowned Aus. City, so alot of thrilling things happen here.

Perth is more for you country folks, how like city on the balcony just rocking on the chair, for those who like peace and quiet.

NTL, both places are wonderful, but i prefer Syd.

if you're after a peaceful,not much stressful life then you should choose perth. perth is more quiet,more peaceful and of course,low crime rate. people are more friendly and cheerful. they have time to nod and smile at you since they're not in a rush or in a hurry.

perth is also a booming city with much more opportunities to offer.

sydney has more nightlife.the life there is fast paced since it's a bigger city..

but what you see in sydney are also here in perth..
