  1. The British National Formulary 2008 says that the dose of tramadol is 50-100 mg. not more than every 4 hours i.e not to exceed a total of 400 mg. per day.

The answer to your question depends on whether one took 200 mg. several times a day or whether one took 200 mg. as one dose so that the maximum allowed dose for the day was not exceeded.

About 800 mg. within 24 hours can lead to respiratory depression and serious side effects.

About 400 mg in 24 hours may lead to extreme side effects in a debilitated person or one taking additional narcotic drugs.

Tramadol should not be given for children and and can be fatal depending on the age.

  2. yes

  3. usually this type of drugs..alone isn't fatal for you to die..

you need to combined it with more things

    ---

also it depends of how much you weight

i think fatal would be something like  38.3 mg/l

still.. is like weiiiirdddd to die only with this medication

  4. NO. Drink a lot of water.

If I was anywhere near you I would want to slap you and then cuddle you (I read both of your recently posted questions).

If you DO want to take a fatal dose, then tramadol isn't the easiest way.

You don't need to shout out for attention: people will answer much more interesting questions than that.

  5. I doubt it, 50-100mg is a norrmal dosage, 200mg isn't going to kill you.

  6. Not likely, but I wouldn't bet against a seizure.

  7. It totally depends on the person taking it.

If your an infant or a child under the age of 12, most likely you'll past out or even possibly die.

Now when an adult takes it, it will in most cases seem like any of the other illicit drugs out there, I suggest you don't find out for yourself.

It could be fatal depending on your health.

  8. Take tramadol exactly as it was prescribed for you. Do not take it in larger doses or for longer than recommended by your doctor. Do not take more than 300 milligrams of tramadol in one day.

Seek emergency medical attention if you think you have used too much of this medicine. A tramadol overdose can be fatal. Overdose symptoms of a tramadol overdose may include drowsiness, shallow breathing, slow heartbeat, extreme weakness, cold or clammy skin, feeling light-headed, fainting, or coma. Tramadol may be habit-forming and should be used only by the person it was prescribed for. Tramadol should never be given to another person, especially someone who has a history of drug abuse or addiction. Keep the medication in a secure place where others cannot get to it. Tramadol can cause side effects that may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be awake and alert. Do not stop using tramadol suddenly, or you could have unpleasant withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, sweating, nausea, diarrhea, tremors, chills, hallucinations, trouble sleeping, or breathing problems. Talk to your doctor about how to avoid withdrawal symptoms when stopping the medication. Do not crush the tramadol tablet. This medicine is for oral (by mouth) use only. Powder from a crushed tablet should not be inhaled or diluted with liquid and injected into the body. Using this medicine by inhalation or injection can cause life-threatening side effects, overdose, or death.
