Question:

Is taking Excedrin and Aleve at the same time dangerous?

For the past 3days or so i been taking both pills at once....just few min ago i felt little pain in my chest

also is it weird i feel little numbness on my right arm?

is this heart attack?

  2. You shouldn't be doing that.  You can alternate, though - take the Aleve and then 4 hours later take the Excedrin.  

    And Excedrin has caffeine which might account for the chest pain.

  3. I looked @ my Excd bottle: tylenol, asiprin, & caffeine. Aleve is Naproxen an anti-inflamatory like Advil and those 2 should not be taken togther. Check the bottle of excedrin to make sure it doesn't have Advil (ibuprophin) in it. Why are u taking both of them?

    Symptoms of heart attack are usually left sided: arm, neck, chest, tongue may hurt, may feel pressure in chest.

    If you are concerned or symptoms don't clear up, please go to your doctor or emergency room. Your health isn't something to mess around with!
