  2. not really.. my cousin has 1 and the turtle usually just sits there and you dont have to do much

  3. Not really when we lived in China we had 4 turtles just keep there bowls clean and feed them and they will be happy.

  4. cool. i love turtles!!! its prob. a lot of work. maybe not a lot of work maybe just work. but im sure its annyoing just like taking care of any other pet.

  5. pshhhhh turtles are easier than anything

  6. not really all you have to do is feed them and clean there tank about once a week

  7. not really. my neighbors have a turtle that they found in a pool and they just put it in an old fishtank and give them lettuce and he's doing alright.

  8. sometimes, because i used to hav a turtle as well when i was a kid

  9. not at all.turtles are pretty easy to take care of. all you have to worry about is changing their water, feeding them, and making sure they have enough space to move around in.plus, all turtles need to walk on dry land once in a while so the fun part is that you can let him crawl on you or your bed!

  10. your kidding right? turtles just sit c**p and eat. get one

  11. I would say that turtles require a moderate amount of work and dedication. There is the daily feeding and of course the weekly cleaning. You have to make sure that your filters are working and that your lights are all working and the temperature is right in the water. I would say that a tortoise is a lot less work. There is still the daily feeding and the daily spot cleaning (scooping p**p out of the substrate), but at least you don't have to completely empty the tank, scrub it and all that is inside it too. You still have to clean the tank about once a month, but that's not weekly. And you don't have to deal with all that water, which gets really stinky sometimes. There are no filters. You still have to have lighting but you don't have to monitor the water temperature. They also love to come out and roam the house and like to go outside and get real UV rays from the sun and munch on grass. If you get a big enough breed you won't have to mow your lawn ever again as well!  If you have any questions you can email me taciturntalker@yahoo.com

  12. No. just feed it once a day and clean its cage/tank 2 a week. Make sure he has rocks so in the winter he can go under them and hibernate. But still keep food in there even when he is hibernating.

  13. Not too bad, just make sure it has food and water and a clean tank with plants.  It's not as bad because it's not an animal that craves daily attention.

  14. no it's actually really really easy..just feed them about twice a day and clean their tanks every 3-4 weeks..and of course, playing with them alittle too..but yea, turtle's are great

  15. land turtles- are easy to take care of. just make sure it has food and water and subsrate. clean the tank every few weeks maybe, or whenever you feel you need to clean it.

water turtles- a little harder, they need a tank with water and a land/basking area if they want to get out of the water, and you'll need a water filter and to clean the tank every 2 or 3 weeks or so.
