Is taking the FWY difficult???

im taking the CA-60 Fwy today from Los Angles to Riverside by myself...i've only been driving for about 2 or 3 months and i've never taken the Fwy before. should i do it???

Go for it, highway driving is not that difficult, just be sure to keep a safe distance behind the car in front of you, pay attention to what's going on, and be careful when changing lanes. I took the freeway after 2 months on my permit, it was pretty easy but I stayed in the right 2 lanes because I wasn't comfrotable with going faster. I haven't been on the 60 ever but I've been on the 210, 605, 10, etc. and they're all pretty similar.

In rush hour... it becomes much more of an excersie in boredom and how much traffic you're wiling to time to avoid speeding up and slowing down to save gas.

Yes do it. you'll be fine. Just always be aware of EVRYTHING around you. If you plan on living in so cal for ever you'll have to get used to it sooner or later. I've logged hundreds of thousand of hours on these frwys I love it. I'm more comfortable on the frwy moving at 85mph than I am at home on my couch. an I'm a bit of a mainiac out there BUT! I have NO accidents that were my fault and only 3 that I couldnt avoid getting sucked into. Every day I remind myself that I'm not special and today could be my day! That respect is what keeps me alive.
