Question:

Is taking two classes to little for a UC Irvine (or any college) freshman to take?

im a humanities major at uci and i only signed up for:

humanities core lecture

intro to phsychology

both classes have a discussion part to go with the lecture. all together they add up to 12 units. has anyone gone to uci are these classes hard?

**im asking because i dont know whether or not i should take more classes... thanx in advance... :D

  1. I go to UCD, not UCI, but just about everyone here takes AT LEAST three classes per quarter. Any less and you might risk not graduating on time.

    I don't know if they're hard classes, but they're intro courses, so they should be introductory (meaning they're not advanced classes). So yes, you should take another class. One thing you could do is to sign up for another class and if you find you don't need it, you can drop it opposed to finding out you need another class and find that the class you want is already full.


  2. you should always take at least 15 credits a semester or you will not graduate on time.
