  1. Over what period of time?

    Before you invest in any stock, what research do you do?

    Can you answer these questions about Target:

    How will the weaker economy affect Target?

    How is Traget managing it's credit card portfolio?

    Over the next five years, how much do you expect Target to increase its total square footage?

    Do you think Target's credit card business will be sold and, if so, how does that factor in?

    How will higher interest rates, inflation, fuel costs, and high consumer debt work for or against Target?

    What do you think about new sourcing initiatives (especially direct overseas sourcing) and higher markups?

    These are just a few very basic questions. I'm not even getting into key ratios.

    I highly suggest that you do not invest in stocks. Buy index funds.
