Is tea that you drink.. healthy for you?

im debating with someone cause they say its bad for you cause the tea..

but i think its good cause its warm water

and things in the tea calms you down ?

sad question but i wanna know haha

  1. I would say its good and bad since some may have loads of caffeine, an other goodies.  but for me I would say yeah, it s good.  I take it hot and with no sugar.

  4. Regular black tea sure doesn't calm you down!  It has more caffeine than coffee! ... But tea has lots of antioxidants, which are good for you.  Just don't put a bunch of sugar into it.....

Tea may indeed have some modest health benefits...the jury is still out, so to speak, but so far it's looking good.  I tell my patients to enjoy their tea, with a few exceptions.  Some of us older folks can't tolerate much in the way of caffeine, so we have to settle for decaf tea.  I remind my caffeine-sensitive patients to be cautious with the stuff.

  7. Tea that you drink is extremely helpful to you! Tea can actually help you live longer if you drink almost everyday! It's true my great grandmother had tea everyday and she lived till 96!!
