My skin is combination type. Its oily but dry in the inner too.

Im thinking of using a tea tree oil cleanser to control oil on my face and lessen breakouts. But im not sure if it will be too harsh for sensitive skin?

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you! =)

  1. No. tea tree is a pure essential oils that is made for problem skin of all kinds, including acne.

there is no harm in using it. it's super effective:)

  2. Anything can irritate any kind of skin and some things irritate one person and not another.

There are different grades of Tea Tree oil from different plantations - some are full of pesticides!!

Let me suggest you find someone who uses products from a company called Melaleuca (based in Little Rock AK but also have offices in Australia, UK, and other countries too). All Melaleuca products are made with Australian Tea Tree oil which is certified 100% organic and pesticide free. That is not to say that even their products won't cause any irritation but are far less likely to do so. In the US you can buy them from their own store and they come with a 100% satisfaction money back guarantee. Apart from using  cleanser, consider using other products from the Melalueca range to rid your home of toxic chemicals that can also cause and contribute to your skin problem.
