  1. Yes,Teaching is a good profession.

  2. Yes. It's a lot of work and somedays you will feel depressed (especially the first year) but it gets easier and you know that you are making a difference. PLUS, there's a lot of vacation time than any other job other than being a billionaire.

  3. Bad Pay :(

  4. teaching is a honurable position....

u r nt only earning money n entertaining ur knowhow but r u changing lives.

remember this n u will find how great this professsion is

  5. In terms of security and summers off, yes, its a good profession. If you enjoy teaching people, its a good position. My suggestion to you is to sub teach. That way you are going to get a taste. You need to take the bitter with the sweet. Some sub jobs will stink. Some will be 'Marvelous". its is up to you to figure out if its right for you.

  6. If you're serious about this, you'll need to go personally observe some English teachers as they work and talk with them about their jobs.

Like all things, there are pros & cons to teaching.

If you have the money, I suggest you become a Lawyer or something that pays really well.  You may like English & quotes, but teaching is a lot more than that. You'll spend a LOT of time doing things OTHER than English if you become an English teacher. It ain't easy.

Then again, some people really LOVE teaching and maybe you'll be one of those people. Good luck!

Go to a local school and visit and volunteer - that will help to make up your mind.
