  1. It's a violation of the Guidelines to use QUESTIONS to TEACH.

On this site, one properly uses questions to ASK; and confines TEACHING to answers they give to the questions of others.

If you don't believe me, read the Guidelines that we all agreed to when we signed up.

  2. Isn't that the only way we've been teaching here? If you wanted to give a lecture, our responses would only consist of the sound of pens scratching on notebooks.

  3. i would think it would be fine...

  4. do we interpret the community guidelines loosely?

  5. Huh? whaaa?

  6. That would be kind of hard since you wouldn't be able to ask the neccessary follow up questions to draw your pupils to the conclusions you want them to reach,I guess you could but it probably won't work very well since you would need the same people to answer all of your questions and it would cost alot of points

  7. If your referring to the Socratic Dialogue, then yes and no.  It's technically not allowed but many do it and yes, I think its the best way to learn or understand a question/answer.  I find I get much more out of a question when posters debate (dialogue).
