  4. The maximum temperature of Delhi has been hovering at slightly higher than 40 degrees celsisus since the last few days. Today, i.e. on the 29th April, 2008, the maximum temperature in New Delhi was 40.7 degrees celsius which was higher by 3 degrees celsius from the normal. The minimum temperature today stood at 21.5 degrees celsius which was lower by 2 degrees celsius from the normal. The maximum and minimum temperatures at Agra today were 46 and 26 degrees celsius respectively. Now, that is considered hot in India.

The entry fee for foreigners to Taj Mahal is INR 750 per person while it is INR 20 for Indians.

From Agra, I strongly recommend that you make a trip to Fatehpur Sikri. While the history of Delhi, Agra or Fatehpur Sikri might not enthuse your sons, I am sure that the uniquely beautiful Mughal architecture at these places will leave a lasting impression on their minds. You may also consider the option of taking them to the golden triangle of Indian tourism viz. Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.

    Wish you a great trip.

  5. It will be very hot during April through June. Then comes the monsoon. The best season for the foreigners to visit those places is from mid-December to mid-March as these are the winter months. The mercury dips to 2 to 3 C in the plains.
