Is tennis an outdoor game ?

Tennis is traditionally an outdoor game. It was first played before indoor options existed and all the major tournaments are outdoors.

But for those of us who are tennis lovers in northern climates -- we play tennis indoors about half of the year. And, truth be told, I prefer it indoors -  with no sun, wind, or temp variations :-)

The only game which cannot be played indoors is Golf.  Every other sports can be played either way.

Since men found a way to built stadiums big enough to hold major tournaments, most of the games are pushed to the indoors during the summer..
