If you havent watched it give it a try!  The first time I saw a match was Connors and McEnroe and from that moment on "I was hooked" and followed the game through the years.  I became a big Borg fan and will continue to watch it until the day I die.  

My best friend started to watch it because she knew I was always watching it on TV or online, so she gave it a try!!! She absolutely loves the game is very saavy on who is playing, how they are playing, where they are playing both men and women....hahaha she knows more than me!

Anyway, it is great, very physical needing endurance and a smart little head to play the right shot at the right time.

So enough said.  Watch and you'll see.

I like watching people compete and since player's are really on their own when they play a match, watching them figure out how to win or seeing them work out issues: physical, mental is fascinating. You get to know players, not personally, through the commentary and how they handle themselves on court and off and you develop a favorite.  I wouldn't enjoy watching tennis so much if I didn't want certain players to win, and some to get their butts kicked, and I don't even play the game.  You have to also enjoy watching the ball being hit back and forth and just the sport itself.

its absolutely awesome.

its got a real gladiatorial feel to it.  two men giving their all in the arena.

strength, speed, touch, nerve; you need it all in this game
