Is terrorism from the Muslims their modern version of the Crusades?

First of all, it's not "the Muslims".

It's a small group of fanatics.

America has them as well - they're the 1,000 militia groups hidden in the hills.

They just haven't come out shooting yet ( except for Timothy McVeigh)

Are Muslims Terrorists or the Jews who invaded them and occupied their home land displacing them as homeless. Or the US who invaded them in Afghanistan and Iraq by creating false alligations killing lakhs of poor innocent muslims?

I'd say the Iraq War was the modern version of the crusades.

Sounds, more like a lot of people who are fed up and seeking some sort of recourse.   When people have nothing else to lose - they become the most dangerous.

But,  I could be wrong.

Sort of but not exactly.

-In a way it is because it is a warlike effort from religious extremists that leads to the countless deaths of many people

-The difference is that the Crusades were a warring time period in which the Christians attacked the Muslims in an attempt to recapture "the holy land" (supposedly where jesus was born), and terrorists strap themselves to explosives in order to create collateral damage to groups of people at one time.

during the Crusades, the Christians and Muslim factions would fight to the death using swords, spears, medieval weapons in general to get each other of their land.

Also, terrorists seem to be attacking mainly the USA and England so it is a bit more diverse, unlike the crusades where the fighting focused only around "the holy land"

so in a way it is, but there are several differences.

They use the Crusades history as an excuse for their terrorism.  The Crusades war or whatever it was probably wasn't done by true Christians, but the wicked have done so much more and worse and they will overlook all those things.
