The tescos that are open 24 hours.......are they also open all night on a sunday evening going into monday morning

Due to Sunday trading laws they can only open for a certain amount of hours on a Sunday. That is why they are closed on Saturday and Sunday nights.

When they say open 24 its usually refering to the fact that they have workers in overnight.

This allows the shelves to be re-stocked without affecting your shopping experience. (always have most items stocked) rather than working around the shopper or not having anything on the shelves. LOL

The Tesco near us is a 24 hour store, but it closes on a Sunday night and does not open until the Monday morning. It remains open during the night on all other nights.

It varies - the one in Watford closed at 4 today and opens tomorrow morning, but is 24 hours the rest of the week

no none of the 24 hr shops are they have to close at 10 on a saturday night then able to open 10-4 or 11-5 sunday then can open from monday morning, so 24 hrs doesnt really mean 24 hrs!

No, the law in the UK prevents shops from opening 24/7 on Sundays.

The latest they could be open on a Saturday is midnight then they can open 6 hours on Sunday.
