No.  It's just a play money game made for Yahoo!.

But I would recommend you play poker at real poker sites.  These sites spend a fortune to make the poker experience as authentic as possible.  You can play for free, but unlike Yahoo! they do have some free tournaments you can win real money on.

Yahoo! actually does offer real money poker, but not to US players. Not sure if the site is on the Boss network, but they use the same software.

I would not suggest the yahoo poker sites. I personally play on Poker Stars, but the two major sites that accept US players are Full Tilt Poker and Poker Stars. They both have play money features that allow you to build up your skills and keep track of a play money bankroll. Granted, these situations are quite different from actual real money online games, but it is a good way to ensure that you are ready to play for real money.
