flirting is fine. fantasizing is fine. it's when you obsess over it then it becomes a problem. if you are the type to be easily tempted and swayed, try to be strong and refrain from these activities. how about flirting with hubby when you miss him. type the things in messages for him when you have those lonely moments. Say to him what you would say to another if you wanted to get intimate. Stay up!

It's not necessarily considered cheating but, it is flirting with another man, and that's not right...

If your husband is in prison and you love him you should wait no matter how lonely you are. Or take out your lonliness on a woman I'm sure it would be better to your husband than with a man......haha just kidding...but good suggestion...

There's nothing productive about doing that. Why don't you text to your husband and focus on your marriage instead? Things like this always turn people like you into unfaithful spouses.

but why is he in prison.  There are many many ways of being untrue to your spouce and I have to say if he went to prison while you were married then he was not very true to you either...

Hmm, prison, that's difficult. I'm sorry you have to deal with this. Well, you can ask him what he thinks about flirty texting with other people. If he gives you the ok, then you should do it. If not, or if you don't want to ask him, that would be cheating. I'm sorry I think you're stuck with your imagination and hands :-(

It's called an emotional affair.You're lonely for your husband and filling in that gap with another man.

You would be better off putting a grinding halt to this and communicate openly and honestly with your husband that you have found yourself unbearably lonely...maybe calls from him, or you go with him, or just get counseling.

I think at this point you can omit what you're doing, but if you continue after what I just told you...you are acting out in spite of your knowledge and you should tell him.

These emotional affairs also can be wayyy stickier than physical affairs, because they touch your heart strings in ways s*x cannot.

The only way you will know for sure if flirt texting is cheating on your husband is if you and him sat down and discussed what cheating is.  Cheating is different in every relationship.

Your husband may be in prison but I think it is still cheating.  Trust me when I say this that texting can lead to more.  It did in the case of my husband.
