Is that Perth Perthfect?

Do you think Perth is a great place to live?

If you don't, why?

It's a nice city, but it's so removed from the rest of the country. Bands never tour there and airfares from there to anywhere else in the country are always heaps more expensive. good for a holiday, but not to live.

I've been there 6 times.  It's nice and the people are friendly.  My only problem with Perth is that it's so distant from the rest of Oz.

My favorite Australian destination was Brisbane.  I found Sydney and Melbourne to be typical big cities.  Hobart was nice but you're trapped on Tasmania.

No Perth is not perfect, no where is.

It depends on solely what you're used to, if you grew up there you don't know any different. Personally I don't like the vastness and distance from the rest of Australia, nor do I like the heatwave they experience every summer.

There is no place like home.

While I wouldn't want to live there, I do think its a great place for immigration and opportunity for new Aussies.
