Nope; its all traditional Jiu Jitsu.  The concept of "Aiki" does not exist only in Aikido, the principle of "effortless throwing" was originally developed in China by the Shaolin monks, then used exclusively by the martial art known as Tai Chi Chuan.  Ultimately though the character Batman knows a slew of martial arts; his hatred of crime and injustice, has made him obsessive.  The character is therefore a master detective, martial artist, chemist, and yes, even a nurse.  I mean come on now he has a dangerous hobby; he better know how to stitch and sutcher wounds right?
