Is that im dumb or rusty at things?

O.k I've been out of public school for a year now(NO i didnt dropped out) I've been homeschooling but i cant seem to do math,science, and english no more since I've been out of public school now I cant even spell some words anymore or do paragraph and other stuff like that and people thinks im really dumb but im not i think...So am i rusty at things or I'm just plain dumb

It would only be dumb if you quit trying.  You must practice writing to be able to write. You must practice spelling to be able to spell. You must practice math problems to memorize and understand concepts.  Turn off the TV, computer and video games and get to work! (smile)

Never feel like you dumb.....There are too many resources today in these subjects.  Believe me I know.  I have been out of school over 23 years and me I am rusty.  But I know how to use my resources if I am not clear.  You might want to enroll in classes for Adult Education.  Our technology is great for these subjects.  If you have friends ask them for assistance.

Definitely just rusty. When you learn and then stop practicing, you still have the knowledge, you just forget how to apply it. For example, I used to know Spanish pretty well and when I stopped practicing it and taking the class, I became pretty rusty at it. But I still have the knowledge.

Just practice and build on the knowledge you have. You are NOT dumb.

Homeschooling has its advantages. However, you are not being exposed to all the levels it takes for an adequate education. You might excel in one subject and falter in another. Home school teachers might have the same shortcomings. You learn from who taught you. You are not dumb...you are just not being able to reap the benefits of a public education.
