I was watching the Olympics And theres a Girl from China gymnastics team who looks like a 10 year old is she really 16.

Only the "captain" or whatever KIND OF LOOKS like she MIGHT be 16!!! I am so pissed that they are about to win the gold medal and there is NO WAY that they are all 16. NO WAY. They look about 9-10 yrs old. !!!

Deng Linlin. Haha. She is so cute and she looks very young like 12. I like her. SHe looks so cute. But anyway, don't you think it is rather a shame that the younger, less experienced 10 year old go beating 16 year olds?

I agree with Bela Karolyi, the chinese are very talented when it comes to gymnastics....however if there is going to be a rule that says you must be 16 to compete, than you follow the rule. You don't fake passports and make yourself the exception to the rule just because you feel like it. And give me a break people...I understand the notion that Asians tend to look younger than their age (I am Japanese/Chinese), but that one little girl was missing a tooth...she was still losing baby teeth! Come on! It's not that we're saying they shouldn't compete and they're not good athletes. They shouldn't be CHEATING while everyone else is following the rules.

Asians look younger people get over it. I think the U.S. is being very sore about losing. That's what this controversy is all about people are just trying to make excuses for U.S. gymnasts sucking out on the mat. Besides Americans are pretty racist they'll use every opportunity to make the other team look bad if they lose to a team that isn't white. It's pretty typical.

You must be referring to Deng LingLing. Did you see the Chinese womens gymnastics coach pick her up after her final on the floor? (Her last event) Thats how I pick up my five year old.

But here's some of my opinion:

It is ture some asian looks younger. I went to visit my new college last month, and there's a chinese girl I met, I couldn't believe that she is a college student...and later I found out she's not a freshmen either...

And plus, I don't really care if they are underaged, they deserved to be able to performe.

Check out your Asian's friends, they all look younger than you think. Due to smaller built, genetics etc. They probably think you look older than they think.

If you don't have an Asian friend, it's high time to have one and don't be narrow-minded.
