Is it possible for me to get another US B1/B2 visa, if my visa was cancelled 9.6 years ago at POE, just because they suspected that I worked in the US illegally?

Were you declared inadmissible at that time?  If so you might need to file a request for a waiver of inadmissibility (I-601).  

If you were just denied entry and had your visa canceled you should just file for a new one.  Don't lie about your previous visa and your refusal of admittance.  Be honest.  You'll be able to make your case during your interview with the US consular officer.

You are not eligible for the Visa Waiver Program because you have previously been denied entry.
