  1. I am personally not a big fan of Silverlight, however having the plugin installed does not impact your everyday browsing experience. Installing it would allow you to view sites that have Silverlight content rather than a link to download the plugin.

    Thus I would recommend installing it to get the best browsing experience possible.


  2. Yes. It is MSFT version of Flash Player.

  3. Silverlight is just Microsoft's version of flash player and it is not worth installing. it would just change the graphics on Microsoft's site a little and nothing else. It is not worth it.

  4. no, it is MS flash equivilent.  try it and see.
