Is that too early to have a fall/halloween themed party?

my daughters birthday is October 3. i wanted to do a fall/halloween themed party. painting pumpkins,etc. is oct. 3 too early for that?

I have worked with a lot of kids and I think the closer you get to halloween the kids will be into it more. I'm sure they will like it but the energy won't be the same as if it was closer to halloween.

Make sure that if you do have this party you discuss it with the parents of the guest first with PLENTY of time for them to get costumes.  Most parents will not have thought of costumes for their kids for Halloween that early.  You may find that the parents won't like the idea for one reason or another.  If the other parents don't like it you may have a low turn out which will make your daughter very disappointed.
