  2. you do not have to be 18 to graduate. As soon as you have enough credits, you can graduate and move on to college (if you choose to go to college).

I have personally known several people who graduated early. There were also several people in my graduating class who didn't turn 18 until the summer after graduation.

  3. er, not really, except you have earn enough, or more than enough high school credit, then you can graduate before 18.

but normally student who are 18 or over 18 can graduate form high school.

  4. that is str8 BS i am 25 now i was 17 when i gratuated H.S and i was taken collage cources in the 12 grade i only had to go to my HS 2 a week the  rest i was taking at my community collage by the time i finished HS i went str8 to FSU

  5. it has nothing to do with grades, maturity, or age, it has to do with credits. and it depends on your superintendants rules on the school if you can graduate early if you gain extra credits through summer school or online classes.

  6. Well I don't know if you can skip the 12th grade but when I graduated from HS in California I wasn't 18 yet.  I don't think it matters if your not 18 to graduate.

  7. you can graduate before you turn 18.

  8. absolutely you can. Many students who are on track to graduate in the normal amount of time do not turn 18 until after graduation (summer birthdays, etc) As long as you fulfill the requirements, you should be fine.

  9. no you do not have to be 18 I was only 17 and so was my niece.  In fact f I had wanted to I could have graduated at 16 because I had the credits but wanted to wait with my class.

  10. You do NOT have to be 18 to graduate high school.

My brother was a 17-year old College Freshman.  If you have all your graduating credits received for transcript, you can discuss it with your school counselors and teachers and faculty to have you graduate early.

  11. No, you don't have to be 18. I graduated High School 2 weeks after my 17th birthday, though I had enough credits to skip the last semester and graduate at 16, it was easier to finish the year and load up on AP classes to put me ahead when I went to college. There are plenty of stories of 15-16 year olds and even younger going to college, and some schools have special programs in place for such students.

  12. You don't have to be 18 to graduate high school.  As long as you have enough credits to do it, you can graduate early.  This girl I knew who was supposed to graduate with me ended up graduating early because she had enough credits to do so.  So anythings possible.  I would suggest you talking to your guidance dean first to make sure it's ok.

  13. you don't have to be 18 to graduate from highschool it just depends on if you have enough credits or not, at my school we've had sophomores graduate

  14. If the registrar or guidance counselor at your school agrees you have all the credits needed to graduate then you may graduate at any age. If your state has a requirement of mandatory school attendance until age 18 then it is with the presumption of "or has earned a high school diploma."

So...good for you. If what you say is true you should be able to take some college courses locally at a community college that one would hope would transfer to a four year college next year, because you should live at home until you are eighteen.

    So...congratulations.

  15. yes you can you can try sending an application and if accepted you can leave hs prematurally.

  16. nope there is no age requirement for graduating, in fact many high school graduates are still seventeen. if you do everything right and put in the extra work you can definitely graduate early, either a year or a semester. go talk to your guidance counselor.

  17. Age has nothing to do with whether or not you can graduate... however, there may be some classes intended for seniors that you have to take in order to fulfill graduation requirements, so you may need to look into that.

  18. No, it's not true.  If you have all the requirements for an early graduation, you are permitted to graduate early.  Meet with your HS guidance counselor to discuss early graduation.

  19. im not sure about if the rules change in illionois but i know where i am you can graduate early alot of kids in my school graduate when they are 17 or something

  20. no its not if you have enough credits then you most definitely can graduate I'm going to graduate at the age 17.i've already talked about it with my school counselor

  21. You don't have to be 18, but I'm not sure you can skip that senior year. I'd talk to your school about that one.

  22. you can graduate at any age as long as you have the required credits.

as for skipping, it depends on the school. i go to a private school, and we can not graduate early.

  23. .of course you can.

  24. LOL  whoever told you that you have to be 18 to graduate was either A) trying to keep you from skipping a grade because theyre jealous or will miss you, or B) arent very bright, because they dont realize that graduation is based on credits...

even though most people graduate when theyre 18, some people are held back, and some have late birthdays, too.

and if you want to graduate early, you just have to talk to your guidance counselor.  but just so you know, most people dont say that they are going to skip their senior yr, b.c thats the year that you have to order cap and gowns, and  take sr. classes and all that stuff.  most people just say they skipped junior year, b.c they decide in 10th grade that they want to graduate early.  then the next yr theyre a senior...  the only thing you have to do is be SURE that you have all the credits needed to graduate from your hs, AND satisfy the requirements for incoming college freshmen.

but i HIGHLY urge you to stay in school and take ap classes.  that way you can save THOUSANDS on college classes and stay with your friends.  plus ap clasess look great on applications.

  25. if you have all the required credits and classes than yes you can graduate early

  26. Yes you can, just as long as you have all of your credits and you pass the ACT

  27. If your I.Q. is not 18 you probably won't graduate from hs or be one of the bevy of valedictorians school officials choose in an egalitarian frenzy.

  28. Depends by what your high school is requiring. If you have all the credits that you need for each class and enough to graduate after Jounior year you should be able to skip senior year, unless there are still classes that you school requires for graduation.

  29. false you can graduate if you are under 18 all you have to do is make sure that you have all the required credits it usually can be found in your planner if this wasn't true then what would be the point of some kids skipping a grade

  30. I had enough credits in at the end of junior year as well. I skipped the whole senior year! As long as you have enough credits and all of your requirements are completed you can graduate at any time. At the same time, as much as i hated school, it sucked to be out of school for a whole year while the rest of my friends were there enjoying the freedom of being seniors. So i would recommend going to college early or working... or just thinking about it more. You can still attend senior year and take fun classes and get early dismissal or late arrival!?

  31. I was 17 when I graduated...and started school.

But you need to make sure you meet all state requirements...

You might have to take the GED.

    You can go to a JC for sure...but a 4 year....not sure.
