Is the 1 year PGCE(Primary) heavy going?

Can you give me an idea of how heavy the workload is, and also how much the PGCE costs, or is it free?

Thinking of maybe going this route myself. No interest in teaching in the UK, but it really boosts your earning power in the teaching fields around the world.

It isn't exactly "heavy" but it is pretty difficult.

You have 4 years work crammed into 1 year.

A lot of people choose to do the PGCE rather than the 4 year BEd.
