Is the 1st 2 weeks in july a good time to go to cancun mexico?

Question

ive noticed its supposed to rain 12 cm a month? It also says theres only 6 hours of sun but the most all year is 7 compared to 11 in tenerife is this right? Id appreciate it if someone whos been or knows exactly what its like to to answer this question as its gonna help me decide whether to book it tonight or not! Thanks

I would tend to say it depends on how you do in the heat.  I went there the later part of July - beg of August a couple years ago and it was very hot, but a very beautiful place.  Unfortunalty our hotel did not have A/C (only a swamp cooler) and the pool was hot, the ocean was hot :o(  I'd say it was 110-115 with 100% humidity, and didnt cool off much at night.  We also went to the Mayan ruins about 2 hours away and it was extremely hot and rained but all in all a very beautiful place and one of the best trips I've been on.  Hope this helps :o)

It is the rainy/hurricane season in July, and will be HOT! You may come across a storm or 2, but that will cool you off, at least! But, you may be able to get a good deal on accomodations or a flight. The economy is slow in the US, and travel is off. We have read this in the news recently, and  we have noticed a drop off in rentals in Cancun, and it's probably time to drop prices. So, maybe you can get a deal! It's worth asking, you never know!

hey well i coud say that its a little wet but the temperature is just right to go uot and have some fun.

from all year this is the best time to go, i am going for vacations on the 27 of jun and will stay there a hole month.

how do i know? i came from mexico and i have travel alot.
