Is the 2001 Chaparral 18SE a good boat?

I am looking at a 2001 Chaparral 18 SE with 80Hrs. on it, and garaged alost all the time. It looks brand new. What I want ot know is if this is a good family boat for just tubbing and cruisig on Lake Mead.

THE CHAP, 18SE IS A FINE LOCAL LAKE BOAT.  TWO COUPLES ICE CHEST AND EQUIPTMENT YOU ARE FULL.    ALSO STAY IN A LAKE WHICH DOES NOT HAVE A LOT OF CABIN CRUISERS OR LARGE BOATS, IN YOUR AREA.  THE SWELLS CAUSED BY THESE VESSELS WILL TOSS AND TURN AN 18 FOOTER IN MANY DIRECTIONS. NOT TO MENTION STORMS.  AS WITH ANY BOAT BUY MORE ENGINE THAN  YOU NEED.

Yeah it is a good boat.  Chaparral dealer that is good for parts is Sun Country in Ontario.  I would check out the prop, skeg and the impeller before using though.  Ask if you can try it on the lake before buying.   dealers do it so should anyone.
