Is the 2001 Saab 9-5 Aero Wagon a good first car for a high school boy?

Why not? It is fast and it is safe. It has space for all your friends and gear. Fold the rear seats and you and partner can sleep in luxury. The only point I would like to mention here is that if you are buying a used car, check past history for maintenance and up keep. Must not have tooooo many miles and that it has been serviced at regular scheduled intervals with the proper oils and have used proper fuel octane. Ask Dad to buy extended warranty for you, just in case.

I got a 2001 9-5 SE V6 sedan in high school and it was and still is great. Mine has tons of miles on it so it's given me a few expensive surprises but I love the car a lot.
