Is the 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse fun to drive?

Is the 2006-and up Mitsubishi Eclipse fun to drive or does it's size make it boring? Is it as fun to drive as a Miata or even close?

if you haven't drive a sports car before than any car with stiff suspension or light weight would do even civic...  the cars not even close to miata, cause miata is top car to have fun with...its more close to Altima,  

miata is light weight rear wheel drive btw...
