I want to upgrade my RX-8's 300 watt system, what should I do? I just picked up a good 100 watt bazooka sub for twenty bucks from a friend. I'm thinking about getting some 10's, but I'm not sure if I need to upgrade my speakers. If I get an amp and a better headunit, will it make a big difference with my bose's speakers. Thanks!

  1. I'd recommend upgrading the stock speakers in the car if your putting in some 10's and an amp. the worst thing you can do is add a lot of bass (lows) to your car and not have any mid's or highs. go get yourself some good speakers and tweeters. I recommend Infinity's (personal preference). as your question states a 300 watt Bose 9 speaker is a good setup with alot of room for improvement. 300 watts isn't alot. best thing would be get a decent head unit, a good 4 channel amp or 2 and some good speakers. go big or go home.
