Is the 30GB Handycam® Camcorder a decent camera for putting videos on youtube?

Seriously u only need like a 512mb camera to put good videos on youtube. ur going a bit over the top there

It is a great camera for general recording.

   YouTube will downgrade your video a certain bit depending on what format you feed it and their current setting behind the scenes (read their help - it is not complicated).  You will need to figure out what format to save in so posting the video to YouTube does not ruin it too much.
