yes he had a down year but i still don't think he is worth THAT much. i would say a 2nd round pick or possibly 19th overall pick (from Colorado) at the most. Zherdev and the 6th pick especially in this draft IMO is way too much.

  1. yeah, thats way too much for him. Zherdev is a good player. and you can get a Franchise player with the 6th pick overall.

  2. Marleau is worth more than that in my opinion.  Look at what hossa was worth as a rental.  someone will pay more.

6th pick is not usually a franchise player

    1981 Jim benning

    1982  Phil Housley

    1983  John MacLean

    1984 Craig redmond

    1985  Brad Dalgarno

    1986 Vincent Damphousse.

    1987  Dave Archibald

    1988  Scott Pearson

    1989  Adam Bennett

    1990 Scott Scissons

in those 10 yrs you have housley who was franchise type d-man and Mclean and Damphouse as decent forwards but not franchise types.  he other 7 are hardly memorable.

  3. Haha thats perfect in my book.

Where did you see that? Email me please.
