  1. get the classic youl never need that much space. the touch is cool, but not good enough for me.

  2. I would check craigslist to check what ipod touches are available used in your area. Or you could always check ebay to get a lower price on the higher gb.

  3. the ipod touch is able to hold over 1,785 songs or about 1,500 songs with 10 videos!

    here is the info to check how much the ipod touch could hold:

          Capacity:

        * 8GB, 16GB, or 32GB flash drive

        * Holds up to 1,750,  3,500, or 7,000 songs in 128-Kbps AAC format

        * Holds up to 10,000, 20,000, or 25,000 iPod-viewable photos

        * Holds up to 10 hours,  20 hours, or 40 hours of video

  4. An 8Gb will hold about 1500 songs, so if you're thinking about just stayig with music then you should be good.  If you like to have video as well (this is really where the widescreen touch is cool) then you may want to upgrade...especially if you want to "store" the videos on the iPod.  If you are okay just copying the videos over to watch them and then removing them when you're done then you should be ok.

    8gb is really quite a bit of space if you are a casual user, but it all comes down to the videos and whether you want to keep them on there or don't mind trading them on and off as you need to.
