Is the 97 kx250 a good bike?

i is completly rebuilt but it has a 2000-2003 motor(cant remeber what year the motor is). and i just want to no if it is a good bike.

I just sold my 98 KX 250.I did not want to sell my best friend but family is more important to me at this time.I am a Kawasaki fan.I have been riding dirt bikes for 28 years. Look out if it has been modified by a unskilled mechanic.

No bike is a good bike UNLESS it has been properly maintained by it's owner(s).

So look for evidence of proper, timely and complete servicing.

Ask what lube is used, how is bike stored, reciepts for service work, or at least does the owner's workshop workshop have quality tools and oils or does she/he have a good attitude to servicing and repair work when needed?
