Is the A.L. Central still up for grabs?

Minnesota just took 3 of 4 from the White Sox but we can never underestimate Detroit. Despite there record they improved their bullpen by bringing in Farnsworth and still have, arguably, the best line-up in baseball.

  1. Im still betting my money on The Tigers to win The A.L. Central.

  2. Absolutely.

Anything can happen between now & the end of the season. Injuries, slumps, hot streaks, returns from the DL, players called up from the minors, trades. Any of these can impact a team, and we have no idea how Griffey Jr. & Farnsworth will impact their respective teams right now.

I'm pulling for the Twins, but it wouldn't shock me to see Chicago or Detroit take the AL Central.

  3. Of course it's still up for grabs.  There's 2 months left in the season.  With the exception of the AL West I think every division is up for grabs.

  4. no the White Sox will win it

  5. detroit and the twins are very much still in the race, the indians have a very low chance

  6. Minnesota is on a roll and has taken the momentum from Chicago. Detroit is one of  the worst middle pack teams dispite their lineup.

Griffey will only bat as DH and he only has like 12 homers. Minnesota will win their division but loose in the playoffs.
