  1. The Corbellis run a quality program.  They will group you with others of you ability.  They will challenge you and will make you work hard, but you will learn a lot.  You will also have fun.

  2. If your school has a good team, then they will probably condition and practice in the summer. So a Camp might help,or take up to much time that you could have been conditioning and learning how to play with people that you will meet.To find out about your schools conditioning sessions you should ask the coach or player, maybe even your schools Athletic Director. Also it would help to get to know the coaches. Also you should look for camps that the colleges are having to learn skill building and techniques. I hope that you like Volleyball and want to continue to play it's my favorite sport.

  3. I dont think so.

The camps would have specific levels for difficulty.

So if you are a beginner I dont think so

but you might be stuck with people younger than you.

maybe you should take a friend

  4. All camps are very flexible adapting to your level. Basically you pay for coaches to scout you :)

In day one everybody does the same fundamental stuff, but during the middle of first day or on day 2 you can get pumped up to middle court or high court so that you can play 9get trained) with players at similar level. Coaches are not all about looking at your current level, but are more to figure out how far you can go based on your attitude and physical conditions.

8th grade is a good starting point when you can learn very quickly and have fun. Once you are in high school you would face more competition and your coach would be harsher on you. Sometimes you would have to remember "no pain no gain" when your competition level goes up... so enjoy your games as a 7th-8th grader.
