  1. I personally thought the ACT was much easier.

  2. the SAT was harder to me, but i did better on the

SAT than the ACT for some reason....

the SAT is reasoning, and usually each question

sort of has more than one right answer

and your required to come up with the "best" answer,

while the ACT is much more straightfoward.

Also, the scoring system is different.

On the SAT, you get one point for every correct answer

and they deduct 1/4 of a point for every wrong answer

you aren't penalized for leaving an answer blank

on the ACT, you get one point for every correct answer

and you aren't penalized at all for any wrong answer.

so basically, its to your advantage to guess on the ACT

if you don't know an answer while it wouldn't be such a good

idea on the SAT. hope this helped. good luck =)

  3. I agree. The ACT is a bit easier then the SAT.

  4. The ACT is more straight forward and doesnt require memorization of vocab words, but it is more time condensed at least for me

The SAT is less time condensed ..only thing is knowing when to guess or skip...because they penalize you for wrong answers.. I got 3 wrong out of all the math questions(which is like 57/60) and got a 720...so they penalize you a lot

  5. It's based on personal preferences

some people find the SAT easier, some people prefer the ACT.

this could be due to the fact that ACT has a science section, and the SAT has a mandatory essay section
