I was wondering if the AP program is good and if the diploma would be enough to pay for all of college. If not would you recommend being in the ib program?

Thank you in advance

  1. There really isn't such a thing as the AP "program".  There are numerous courses offered that are AP, however, to receive college credit you must take a Collegeboard national exam and, depending on your scores, colleges will either grant you credit for that specific course, or they won't.  AP classes by themselves do NOT have specific scholarships for the students because, again, they are just classes.  You are granted scholarships by your GRADES in those classes and your other ones.  Collegs DO love to have students who have taken AP classes and AP exams in High School because it shows those students are serious about their futures.  AP courses are the most advanced courses in High School, and are highly recommended if you are serious about your future.

    Hope this helped!

  2. im not sure what you mean, but just by taking an AP course does not give you a college credit. you must take an AP test distributed by the AP College Board usually at the end of the year and it is scored from 1-5. you must have a 3 to get a college credit but most colleges only accept scores 4 or higher

  3. AP as in Adavanced Placement in high school courses?

&What is it good enough for, colleges?

If so COlleges LOVE ap criedts and classes.
