Is the ARU as corrupt as Pakistan cricket ?

seems to me they made a fortune out of the world cup in 2003 but many junior clubs are struggling financially.

surely spending a few $$$$ on developing young players is better value than buying overpriced rugby league wingers and trying to re-train them

absolutely but i think thats the case in most elite sports these days..the more money they get the more ritzy the board members and ceo's live...its the ones that havnt been caught yet that are the worst of all ...i think u hit the nail on the head with this one!!!  spot on bout the league players too they will do a matt rogers come over for a quick buck and than go back to the game that nurtured them!!
