I have found that those who choose to talk on a phone ( AT & T Blackberry Curve phones included) while racing a motorbike usually end up stacking.  So is this phone shock proof as otherwise you should perhaps look at another brand.  I don't know the brand that all the guys who race use.  Perhaps you could do some research and track it down.
