Maximam area of the Amazon rain  forest is located within Brazil, with 60% of the rain forest,found in Peru with 13%, in  Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana. Many States and departments have been named after Amazons in these four nations. Amazon rain forest is the most species rich area on the earth, and it is one of the largest surviving rain forest on the face of the earth.
