Is the Anole egg ok?

Question

my dad went to take the egg out of the tank (which he did successfully)

but then when he got it into the other tank where we are keeping the egg, he wasn't thinking and just dropped it into the tank, the egg landed onto a very soft mineral called coconut fiber. luckily i don't think it cracked, jut now he is in a different position then when he was "born". (the side that was down is now up). should i move it to its regular spot, or just keep it where it is?

please help me!

Its most likely not going to hatch but you never know.
