  1. Yes - Asus has been making fairly reliable Pocket PCs for the past few years.

    The A626 is a pretty standard Windows Mobile device - it isn't a phone but it does include WiFi and Bluetooth.  Its processor is fast enough that it shouldn't feel slow but at only 312Mhz it is not one of the fastest devices out there.

    The best points of this device is the metal case and its fairly compact design.

    Basically - if it meets your needs and you can get for a good price (under $300, $200 for used) then I would recommend it.

    Of note - it comes with Windows Mobile 5.0 and there are currently no plans from Asus to release a 6.0 or 6.1 update.
