Is the Atlantis Resort Good?

Has anyone ever been to t he atlantis resort in the bahams? If so, please share if it's a good hotel for a family vacation for a couple of days in May

It's a wonderful resort to take the family. It's a bit pricey but for a few days it won't be too bad.

It has a casino,22 restaurants from gourmet to casual, 20 bars and lounges, water slides, multi pools, beaches, kids club (Club Rush), over 50,000 marine animals , lazy river ride. So many attractions. Here is their website.

Atlantis Resort is wonderful!  After years of vacationing there, we decided to make the area our winter home.  

The resort has been voted 2007 Best Caribbean Resorts and 2007 Best Family Resort.  Aquaventure is the new water park, and it's so much fun the day will go by so fast and you've spent it all at the waterpark!  Visit Dolphin Cay for a dolphin encounter.     Relax at one of the open air massage tents available at each pool for a wonderful massage!  Caribbean bands play often at the pools, and there are always pool games going on for kids.

The food is fabulous!  Murray's Deli makes the best deli sandwiches anywhere!   For a great caribbean flair, try Bimini Road - it's casual dining that offers an outdoor atmosphere overlooking the marina area.  Watching the yachts there is fun and they're all so beautiful!  

It's a great vacation spot - although a bit pricey for food, we used to pack a suitcase full of snacks (bagels, coffee, breakfast and snack bars, chips, etc...) to save a bit and you can buy soda and water at the grocery store across the street.
